Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 17, 2026
We handle your data the same way we handle acquisitions — with precision and a clear purpose for every decision. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
The short version

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact us and we will respond promptly.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to target you with advertising on third-party platforms.
3. Seller and Founder Data
When founders or sellers submit business information to StackFlippers — including revenue data, traffic metrics, churn figures, or product details — that information is treated as strictly confidential. It is used solely for internal evaluation purposes and is never shared publicly without your explicit written consent.
Information published on live listings has been explicitly approved for public display by the submitting party. If you wish to amend or remove published listing information, contact us at privacy@stackflippers.com.
4. Buyer and Inquiry Data
Contact details and offer figures submitted through buyer inquiry or offer forms are shared with the relevant listing party — the seller or StackFlippers internally — as a necessary part of facilitating the acquisition process.
We do not share buyer identity, financial capacity, or contact information with unrelated third parties.
5. Cookies and Analytics
The Platform uses the following categories of cookies and tracking technologies:
- Essential cookies: Necessary for authentication, session continuity, and core Platform functionality. These cannot be disabled without breaking the experience.
- Analytics cookies: Collect aggregated, anonymized data about traffic patterns and user behavior. Used solely to improve the Platform.
- Preference cookies: Store non-sensitive user preferences such as display or theme settings.
You may disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings at any time. Some Platform features may be affected as a result.
6. Communications
By creating an account or submitting a form, you consent to receive transactional emails related to your activity — offer confirmations, inquiry responses, account notifications. These are not marketing emails and cannot be unsubscribed from without closing your account.
We may send occasional platform updates or product announcements. You can opt out of these at any time via the unsubscribe link in any such email, or by contacting us directly.
7. Third-Party Services
The Platform integrates with the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Clerk — authentication and identity management
- Neon (PostgreSQL) — secure cloud database hosting
- Vercel — Platform infrastructure and deployment
- Google Analytics — anonymized usage analytics
We select providers that meet reasonable data security standards, but we are not responsible for their independent data practices.
8. Data Retention

- Submission and inquiry data is retained for the duration of the relevant evaluation or transaction process
- Analytics data is held in aggregated, anonymized form and retained indefinitely
- Communications with our team are retained for up to 3 years for operational continuity
To request deletion of your data, email privacy@stackflippers.com. We will acknowledge and act on deletion requests within 30 days.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information
- Request deletion of your data, subject to legal obligations
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities
- Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@stackflippers.com. We respond to all valid requests within a reasonable timeframe.
10. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Our infrastructure runs on industry-standard cloud providers with encryption in transit and at rest.
No system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the protection of acquisition-sensitive data seriously.
11. Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform following an update constitutes acceptance.
